I’m looking for some signature Obama drinks. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far:
- The Obama Hope: vodka, Kahlua, and a hint of tequila with cream
- The 538 Sweep: vodka, tequila, rum, gin, triple sec, and blue curacao with Coke for color
- The Bush Impeachment: grapefruit juice, vodka, and peach liqueur

No Champagne cocktails?
I’d suggest reassigning the name Obama Hope* to a cocktail usually called the “Chicago” – brandy shaken with bitters and triple sec, topped with Champagne.
*After all, shouldn’t a drink with vodka and tequila be called The International Facilitator?
Yeah, that was sort of the idea behind the Obama Hope — he brings the people together.
