No argument, as I haven’t seen FNL, but may I recommend HBO’s The Wire if you haven’t given it a shot yet?
Agreed, beige. The Wire is quite possibly the best show on TV period. Sometimes when I watch it I think it’s better than The Sopranos, but then I go and watch the Sopranos and remember how awesome it is. Right now I’m calling it a toss-up.
Season 5 in February. I can. not. wait.
I’ve got to get the Prof to watch it so that we can talk about it more on the air. The profile in the New Yorker of David Simon is well worth your time if you’re a Wire fan.
