Viva la Silly Season

Giuliani launches a radio spot in Iowa claiming he’s “liberals’ worst nightmare.”

[sigh]  Is it really too much to ask that candidates for president stop conflating “leftist” with “liberal”?  I’ve been standing on my soapbox on this for a long time … all I’ve managed to accomplish is a slight increase in my blood pressure.  But still …

Rudy, face it.  You’re as “liberal” as Bruno and I are.  That’s the only reason why I wouldn’t puke in my breakfast if you somehow manage to make it through the Republican primaries.

  1. 1 Bruno

Indeed, Giuliani actuallly ran on the Liberal ticket when he ran for mayor in ‘93:

Still, though. I’m more comfortable with an egomaniacal mayor than I am with an egomanial president.

You come down too hard on the squeegee men, and worst case you get hit with an ACLU lawsuit. You come down too hard on Iran, and maybe you start WW3.
