Feingold Moves to Censure

Posted by Bruno on July 23rd, 2007

This is what I get for sleeping in on Sunday and missing Meet the Press. Apparently Russ Feingold appeared to announce a new resolution to censure the president, hot on the heels of this week’s podcast where we discuss the case for impeachment.

The problem with the censure resolution is that it’s too early. First we need to get the impeachment train to leave the station, then offer censure as a reasonable compromise, as those notoriously mushy compromisers known as “Moveon.org” did in the 1990s.
