Not to be outdone by the Obama 1984 ads, Bill Richardson’s running a pretty clever set of short ads in Iowa and online:
I have no idea why he’s talking about tax cuts, though. Maybe that was a thing in ‘94, but most Americans were ambivalent about the cuts when Bush passed them, and they’re positively uninterested in them now.
Whatever consultant told him that the best way to the Dem nomination was glowing editorials from current and former Weekly Standard writers needs to be fired, quickly.
