I’m not quite sure how you speed in a Zamboni, but at least the gov can’t take this freedom away from us:

You can’t be charged with driving drunk on a Zamboni in New Jersey.

A judge ruled the 4-ton ice-cleaning machine isn’t a motor vehicle, in part because it’s not useable on a highway and can’t carry passengers.

The judge Monday overturned the license revocation imposed against Zamboni operator John Peragallo last year.

Peragallo, 64, was charged in 2005 with drunken driving after a fellow employee at the Mennen Sports Arena in Morristown told police the machine was speeding and nearly crashed into the boards. His blood-alcohol level was 0.12, or .04 above the legal limit.
