Every once in a while Byron York reprints raw poll numbers in National Review’s The Corner that blow your mind. Today there are some numbers that in part confirm a scenario benefitting an independent candidate for President. Basically, for Presidential hopefuls, the only thing worse than being Mormon is if you are an atheist or gay.
I wonder if New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been paying attention. (What’s more, 55 percent of respondents to the Gallup poll think we’re ready for a Jewish President!)
