Apparently GM has decided that the Hail Mary play of waiting for Hydrogen isn’t enough. They’re looking to leap-frog Toyota with plug-in hybrids:
According to Bloomberg GM is hard at work on a plug-in and could show off a prototype in January that would get 60 mpg, with a production model possible by the end of next year.
Good for them. I expect the producers of the anti-GM Who Killed the Electric Car will immediately update their film!
