This is really just a placeholder to a) remark that it’s odd that newspapers didn’t take the opportunity to use this delicious headline and b) invite the Professor to explain how and why the U.S. has so little leverage with China these days, seeing how (literally) indebted the U.S. economy is to China and how that means that it’s not at all surprising that issues like the trade deficit, worldwide monetary policy, hotspots like Iran and carbon dioxide emissions are dealt with on China’s timeline.
I see that one person, almost a year ago, used this construct*, but why not resurrect it here and now while the issue is hot!
*Others are dying for the Professor to jump in here, by the way, and here’s another attempt to get the ball rolling.
P.S. Professor, I’ll be ticked If that gasbag John McLaughlin beats you to it.
P.P.S. Keep your eyes open for a major news publication to step in.
Now Playing: Episode 366
