It Begins

From the administration that brought us “we can’t see the WMD, but we g*ddamn know they’re there and you’re a pinko commie p*ssy if you don’t believe us” comes another salvo in the escalating War o’ Words with our good buddy and pal, Iran.

“Tehran has been responsible for at least some of the increasing lethality of anti-coalition attacks by providing Shia militia with the capability to build improvised explosive devices in Iraq,” Bush said in a speech.

Hey, this might even be true. I can neither confirm nor deny the rumors that Bush sometimes ,possibly, gets it right (remember that old bit about the broken clock, eh?). But ask yourself - are you ready to follow Commander Cody and the Superfriends into another war?

Best to start a’hollerin’ now if not. It only took the pansies in Congress three years to get up the gumption to oppose the last one. By the time they shut up about what a rotten idea Iraq was, the M1-A1s will be pulling down statues of the Ayatollah. And if you thought that 2500 KIA and counting in Iraq was bad, remember that Iran has three times the population and no friendly minority groups.
