Looks like indictments are coming. Since this might all be old news by the time I wake up here on the West coast tomorrow, I might as well comment on it now.

My dad said to me the other day that he “can’t wait for them all to walk out of the courthouse with raincoats over their heads.” Then I asked him which he’d rather see, that or the Yanks lose the World Series every year, and he admitted it was the latter.

Anyway, it’s going to be a wild week, it seems. As to whether or not perjury is lame, I’ll offer this exchange from the film, The Firm:

Mitch McDeere: I got mine, Wayne, you get the rest of them.
Wayne Tarrance: Get ‘em with what? Overbilling, mail fraud? Oh, that’s exciting.
Mitch McDeere: It’s not sexy, but it’s got teeth!

Sure, if you’re trying to use this thing to re-fight the Iraq war, you’re going to be disappointed. But if you’re just lookin’ for a little partisan raincoat porn to get through a cold, damp autumn day, Plamegate will probably do you just fine.
