They announced yesterday that former Van Halen frontman and Bronx EMT David Lee Roth is going to take over for Howard Stern:
A middle-aged Bronx paramedic with a receding hairline [ha ha! they're making a semi-obscure reference to Roth's latest stunt] has been tapped to take over for Howard Stern when the shock jock moves his [...]
Looks like indictments are coming. Since this might all be old news by the time I wake up here on the West coast tomorrow, I might as well comment on it now.
My dad said to me the other day that he “can’t wait for them all to walk out of the courthouse [...]
The Simpsons Had a Great Graphic … (or why I’m voting no on I-330)
Posted by Matski on October 25th, 2005
The Simpson’s would post this great graphic whenever Kent Brockman’s newscast got interupted by some shenanigans. The graphic featured a camera operator holding a bottle of booze and looking pretty well in cups.
I think maybe I’d like to run that graphic over my premature quasi-endorsement of I-330.

While Peru decides which former criminal it wants as President, back at home our very own Contrarian asks if maybe we should pause and think before rejoicing at the prospects of Plamegate taking down the Vice President and his men.

This forms a potent coalition of green Western Washingtonians and anti-tax, anti-Seattle Eastern Washingtonians that can kill most major highway initiatives, like Referendum 51.
This time around, things are different. In [...]
It seems possible that federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald will soon announce indictments of various Satans Incarnate who performed Lucifer’s work by . . . yeah, whatever . . . Joe Wilson seemed like a pompous ass anyway (and I don’t think I’m the first to say that).
The lamest thing will be that instead of nailing [...]
Doing some research for an upcoming Rivet article on why I think recycling — more specifically, the recycling industry — is a big unreusable wad of bloody butcher’s paper hiding pork of the most rancid kind.
Why? You’ll have to read the article.
For now, thought you might find this list of America’s 20 largest Materials [...]
