Seriously, folks, this whole Newsweek thing is terrible. I mean, with one careless remark, this magazine has done irreparable damage to America’s standing in the Arab world!
Before this awful, reprehensible article was published, the Arab people loved America. They couldn’t get enough of us. Remember when we invaded Iraq? The Iraqis — to say nothing of the rest of the world — were thrilled!! They threw roses, they welcomed us as liberators.
Remember???!
And then Newsweek has to go an run it all. They should apologize for all the damage they did to America’s reputation. George Bush and his administration bear absolutely none of the blame. It was Newsweek, Newsweek, Newsweek.
Oh, and John Kerry.
I mean, just last week President Bush’s approval rating in Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan was hovering around 80% And now it’s in the toilet and it’s all the fault of Newsweek and the rest of the stupid liberal media.
Bastards.
