How do I know this? Because even Drudge is having a hard time coming up with anti-Dean headlines. Today was a classic: “PAPER: Dems ‘Frustrated’ With DNC Chair Dean’s First 100 Days…” trumpets The Drudge Report. But when you follow the link, you read this:
Some Democrats are frustrated by the contrast between the two approaches, even as they praise Dean’s efforts to revitalize flagging state parties.
Drudge fudging headlines to make Democrats look bad is nothing new, of course, but the fact that this was the best he could come up with should give Democrats some hope: things are sort of looking not so bad!
