Rumsfeld: The Endorsements Just Keep on Comin’

Posted by Bruno on December 14th, 2004

The accolades just keep rolling in.

Yesterday, Sen. Hagel on Meet the Press:

Hagel characterized Rumsfeld’s performance as “incompetent” and refused to endorse him for another 4 years. “Bush has got to live with his choice for the next four years,” said Hagel.

And today, Sen. McCain in the Associated Press:

U.S. Sen. John McCain said Monday that he has “no confidence” in Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, citing Rumsfeld’s handling of the war in Iraq and the failure to send more troops.

And this is what the Republicans are saying about the guy! What a winner! Seriously, has anyone besides our president said anything good about this guy in the last, oh, two years?
