Bruno’s Sex Crusade Revisted

Posted by Bruno on December 4th, 2004

Glad to see Andrew Sullivan is keeping tabs on the “Theocracy Watch,” i.e., the theo-conservative movement to bring America’s mores back to some non-existent stereotype of the 1950s that they got from watching too much TV.

Frequent listeners to the show know that whereas the Professor likes to wage war on the War on Drugs, Bruno here loves to wage war on the War on Sex. After all, waging war on war is the same as waging peace, right?

In other news, Mr. Sullivan, like so many sensible Americans, is falling in love with this wonderful new concept we call neo-localism:

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “It is one of the happy incidents of the federal system that a single courageous state may, if its citizens choose, serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country.” Justice Brandeis, New State Ice Co. vs Liebmann, 1932. Justice Brandeis, welcome to the new Republicanism.
