We’ve heard a lot in the past week about how so many voted their Bibles and not their pocketbooks.
But as this analysis shows, the Red States by and large receive a much greater proportion of Federal handouts than they actually pay in taxes.
So it looks like the Red Staters DID actually vote in their economic self-interest. Guess we don’t have to ditch that rationality assumption after all, eh?
