As a number of commentators (including my partner in crime) have pointed out in recent days, we progressives are now indisputably without power in the federal government. I.e., whatever happens from now on is undeniably not our fault.
Let me take a moment to jump on and this bandwagon and say stop whining, Rush and all your kin. You won. You have the power to do just about whatever you want to do. If you fail, it is not our fault — it’s because you stink at leading.
Far from crying about last Tuesday, we on the left need to band together and fully and completely acknowledge the utter dominance of the right in America. Let them reap what they sow, and here’s to a Pyrhric victory, indeed.
