America’s Jan Palach?

Given that we’re completely without voice in federal government I sort of expected something like this to happen sooner or later. And what a great tragedy that self-immolation is not a horrible surprise, but an expected form of self-expression.

I wonder whether we will remember this man as the American Jan Palach.
