Al Gore is pledging $6 million from his 2000 campaign war chest to Senator Kerry’s campaign. I guess this is Al’s way of saying “sorry” for that whole “endorsing Howard Dean” thing…
Al Gore can be forgiven, of course, for endorsing Dean. We know how much time Gore spends on the internet, and he probably got a distorted view of Dean’s chances. I bet he regrets starting that blog, “FormerVPs4Dean,” too.
Maybe he should just hand out checks to Nader supporters, and encourage them to “give the Senator from Massachusetts a second look.”
